2. Facsimilul a apărut în Le Figaro littéraire în 20 mai 1961.
3. Începând din ianuarie 1877 şi până în luna august a aceluiaşi an, nu mai ştim nimic de Rimbaud. Ştim doar din scrisoarea lui Delahaye către Ernest Millot, din 6 august 1877, că prietenul lor comun a fost văzut ultima oară la Stockholm. Prezentul document ne permite să astupăm această lacună.
